Thank you! I am certain there are a whole world of worries that come with teenage boys as well, though I would imagine much of the above still applies. We’re expecting a boy at the end of March…so I will one day be joining you as the mother of a teenage boy. Having 3 brothers, it scares me a little too

Thanks Amanda! I agree completely. Daughters need to see confidence and self respect from their mothers. It is the biggest example they will ever follow.

awesome blog Crys, I read a great story about a woman and her mother, and it basically said, be kind to yourself because your daughters are watching, always refer to yourself as beautiful as well, never fat or unattractive. Girls have enough false ideas of beauty from the media.
