This past Friday was the hubby’s birthday. Lilly is getting to an age where birthdays are becoming a big deal and must be well celebrated for everyone in the house. She was very upset that I had no planned a party for Daddy.
She doesn’t quite get that adults don’t go all out for each year. We did have a big blow out for his 30th last year.
This year, however, I did make sure that I at least got some small gifts, cards and treats. Gluten free brownie for her and I to share and a yummy cupcake for Daddy.
